NBU Sets New Exchange Rate for Dollar and Other Currencies: Current Data for April 2025

On April 30, 2025, the National Bank of Ukraine announced changes to the official exchange rates of currencies. According to the regulator, the exchange rate of the US dollar against the hryvnia has decreased after four days of increases.

“The official exchange rate as of April 29, 2025, is 41.74 hryvnias per US dollar, which is 0.0072 hryvnias lower than the previous level.”

The euro exchange rate also slightly increased to 47.3921 hryvnias per euro — 0.0065 hryvnias more than the day before. In the interbank market, the exchange rate of the American currency decreased by 15 kopecks and fluctuates between 41.66 and 41.69 hryvnias per US dollar. In the cash segment, the dollar has risen by 10 kopecks and now stands at 41.95 hryvnias.
