Netherlands to allocate €55 million for the reconstruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure
The Dutch government has decided to provide €55 million to the World Bank’s trust fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister Dick Schoof, emphasizing that support for Ukraine remains a priority for his country and its partners in Europe.

Netherlands supports Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression
The Prime Minister stressed that the aggression of the Russian Federation poses threats not only to Ukraine but also to other European countries due to violations of airspace and hybrid attacks. According to Dick Schoof, allies remain united in their support for Ukraine in its pursuit of freedom and security. He also condemned the Russian missile strikes on civilian targets and called for increased sanctions against Russia.
“The Netherlands and allies support Ukraine in its fight for freedom and security,” emphasized Dick Schoof.
Infrastructure recovery is ongoing
In the Kyiv region, about 80% of the facilities damaged by Russian shelling have already been restored. This includes over 24,000 structures, including residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and infrastructure facilities. Notable results are particularly evident in the city of Irpin, where 3,111 out of 3,860 damaged structures have currently been repaired.
In Borodyanka, the construction of a new nine-story residential building is underway on the site of a destroyed apartment block, which will provide 105 new apartments for affected families. In total, over 600 out of 825 damaged facilities have already been restored in Borodyanka.
