Over a Million Ukrainians Received Winter Payments through ‘Ukrposhta’ as Part of the Support Program
More than one million citizens of Ukraine have already benefited from the government program ‘Winter Support 2025’, receiving a payment of one thousand hryvnias through the national postal operator ‘Ukrposhta’.

As of today, over 1,011,113 applications have been submitted to participate in the program, indicating a high demand for additional social assistance during the winter period. In the first two weeks of November, nearly 846,000 individuals turned to ‘Ukrposhta’, and just in the first three days of December, the number of new applications exceeded 165,000.

Program Expansion and Automatic Payments
As of November 25, the program has also been extended to rural branches across Ukraine. ‘Ukrposhta’ has already disbursed assistance to over 403,000 recipients. Payments are primarily made automatically to citizens who receive pensions or other social benefits from the state through ‘Ukrposhta’.
Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba emphasized that the state focuses on supporting the most vulnerable communities, providing a simple and reliable mechanism for receiving funds through an extensive logistics network.
The accessibility of the program is guaranteed by the national operator’s network, which includes over 26,000 points across the country, reaching even the most remote settlements. Individuals who receive their pensions through a bank or do not use the ‘Diia’ app will receive SMS notifications after the funds are credited.
