In particular, the US is effectively unresponsive to the activities of a working group focused on preventing Russia’s access to technologies and equipment for weapon production. Washington has also decreased its activity in the group monitoring compliance with the price cap set by the G7 on Russian oil. It is currently difficult to determine whether this is a deliberate decision by the US or if they are simply facing a shortage of key personnel, as some meetings have been attended by less influential officials who lack decision-making authority.
