Attacks on Strategic Facilities in Odesa
Head of the Radio Technology Center, Serhiy Beskrestnov (“Flash”), reported that on December 14, the Russians struck a bridge in Zatoka, using nearly 40 Shahed-type drones. About twenty of them reached their target. On December 18, a new shelling was directed at the bridge in Mayaky.
“They are trying to cut off the entire western part of the Odesa region from transport communications in this way. This affects the logistics to the Danube,” wrote Beskrestnov.
Traffic Restrictions Due to Attacks
On the morning of December 19, the Infrastructure Recovery and Development Service in the Odesa region reported a temporary closure of traffic on the M-15 Odesa — Reni highway, which passes through the village of Mayaky. The agency urged drivers to refrain from traveling this route if possible.
Information about the restoration of traffic on the damaged section of the road will be provided later.
