Russian Shelling Leaves Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and Part of Kramatorsk Without Power

As a result of yet another round of shelling by the Russian Federation, part of the Donetsk region has been left without electricity. The cities of Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka are completely without power, as well as certain areas of Kramatorsk.

Damage to Critical Infrastructure

According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Denys Filashkin, the enemy continues to target critical infrastructure facilities in the region. In particular, on October 3, enemy attacks were directed at energy infrastructure, leading to widespread power outages in several settlements.

“In particular, all of Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka, as well as some areas of Kramatorsk, are without electricity,” he wrote.

Local Authorities’ Actions to Restore Power

The authorities and relevant services remain on-site and are responding promptly to the situation. According to Denys Filashkin, as soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will immediately begin restoring power for residents of the affected areas. Efforts are focused on restoring electricity to homes as quickly as possible.
