Significant Increase in Food Prices Recorded in Kyiv in October 2025
In October 2025, consumer prices in Kyiv rose by 1.4% compared to September, exceeding the average inflation rate in Ukraine, which was 0.9%.

Since the beginning of 2025, prices in the capital have shown an increase of 8.6%, while the overall figure for the country stands at 7.3%. This data is provided by the State Statistics Service.
Which Products Have Increased the Most in Price
Among the main categories of food products in Kyiv, the largest price increases were seen in milk – by 19.7%, vegetables – by 15.4%, eggs – by 8.6%, non-alcoholic beverages – by 4.5%, sunflower oil – by 3.3%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco – by 3.2%, fish and fish products – by 3%, and bread – by 2.3%.

At the same time, a decrease in prices for some goods and services has been recorded. In particular, railway passenger transportation has decreased by 7.1%, pasta products – by 4.3%, clothing and footwear – by 1.6%, and pharmaceutical products and medical devices – by 0.8%.
