Safety Support and International Assistance
The IAEA also added that as part of the support for nuclear and physical safety, the Khmelnytskyi NPP and the Centralized Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility received communication systems purchased with funds from the European Union.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has already received 135 international shipments under the assistance program implemented by the IAEA. In particular, to ensure an additional level of safety at the Khmelnytskyi NPP and the Centralized Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility, modern communication systems funded by the European Union have been implemented.
