Key Infrastructure Restoration Projects

  • In Kremenchuk, located in the Poltava region, a new factory for the production of fasteners for the transition to European gauge is planned to be built. There will also be the production of contact wires necessary for the electrification of railway tracks.
  • In Vinnytsia and the Sumy region, the construction of modular homes intended for internally displaced persons is planned.
  • In Kharkiv, as well as in other regions near the combat zone, windows in damaged buildings will be replaced.

Implementation Plans and Future Cooperation

All the mentioned initiatives have already been included in the Unified Project Portfolio, allowing for their implementation to begin without bureaucratic delays. Currently, preparatory work is underway, and the start of implementation is expected in October 2025.

Ukraine and Switzerland are also considering further cooperation to develop the transportation sector.
