The number of industrial parks in Ukraine has increased to 105, but most lack production
Ukraine is experiencing rapid growth in the number of industrial parks: over the past three years, their number has doubled, reaching 105 sites. An additional 30 applications for the creation of new parks are currently under review by the government. This information was shared by Anton Andriienko, a representative of the Ministry of Economy, during the Forum of Industrialists.

Challenges in the development of industrial parks
Despite the positive dynamics in the registration of industrial parks, a significant portion of them remain only on paper. According to Andriienko, only one-third of industrial parks have one or two operational processing enterprises. The remaining sites have yet to attract production residents.
“Only one-third of industrial parks currently have one or two processing enterprises on their territory, while the rest, unfortunately, are still theoretical projects,” Andriienko added.
Successful examples and investment prospects
At the same time, among the operational parks, there are successful cases. In particular, the Innovation Forpost industrial park in Dnipro is completing the reconstruction of industrial buildings and is negotiating with the first two potential tenants. Both enterprises plan to operate in the food industry. The park is reconstructing two industrial facilities with a total area of 3,500 square meters, and a substation with a capacity of 16.5 MW is also under construction.
Approximately 67 million hryvnias have already been invested in the project. By spring 2026, the volume of investments is expected to increase by about 310 million hryvnias. The total amount of private investments in the creation of production facilities within the park is anticipated to reach 6 billion hryvnias.
