TriForce II® Seed Coulter Suspension for Spirit C Seeders: Innovative Suspension as the Foundation for Uniform Crop Emergence
The Spirit series of seeders from Vaderstad allows for the selection of the optimal solution for farms of any scale, while retaining all the advantages of the precision suspension of the TriForce II® seed coulters. Currently, the lineup includes units with working widths ranging from 4 to 9 meters, enabling the selection of a unit based on the tractor available in your farm.

Each model is designed with high performance requirements in mind, combining soil preparation, leveling, seed sowing, mineral fertilizer application, and rolling in a single pass.

The innovative TriForce II® suspension, which is an integral part of the technological success of the Spirit C seeders, sets new standards for precision in grain crop cultivation. Its design is based on the principle of active terrain contouring, where each coulter operates as an autonomous unit, capable of instantly responding to the slightest changes in the micro-relief of the field. Unlike rigid systems, the TriForce II® ensures stable contact of the coulters with the soil thanks to a unique triangular rubber shock absorber mounting, allowing them to smoothly follow the surface contour of the field without losing the set sowing depth.
The agronomic advantage of such a system lies in creating an ideally uniform seedbed, which is a critical factor for most crops. When each seed is placed at the same depth, it receives identical access to soil moisture and warmth, stimulating synchronous emergence. For grains, this lays the foundation for uniform tillering and simultaneous progression through all subsequent phases of vegetation, significantly easing crop care and harvesting. Additionally, the absence of “layering” in plant development allows the agronomist to accurately calculate the timing of chemical treatments, enhancing their effectiveness and minimizing stress on the crop.

Thanks to reliable downforce and self-cleaning capability, the system demonstrates impeccable results across the widest range of conditions—from light sandy soils to heavy clay loams. Ultimately, the stability and predictability provided by this technology translate into guaranteed yield increases and high-quality grain production.
