In Ukraine, a rise in gasoline and diesel prices is expected by early November
Over the next two weeks, the price of gasoline and diesel fuel at gas stations in Ukraine will increase by 1–2 hryvnias per liter. This forecast was made by fuel expert Dmytro Lyoshkin, noting that the main factors driving the price increase are rising wholesale prices and the weakening of the hryvnia exchange rate.

Reasons for the Price Increase and Market Situation
Small gas stations have already started raising prices, while larger networks, such as OKKO and WOG, are currently holding off on price hikes due to their own fuel reserves. However, according to the expert, these operators will also have to raise prices by early November.
The market is experiencing a trend of fuel shortages — currently, only about 80% of demand is being met. Nevertheless, the situation remains manageable and is not considered a crisis.
Price Dynamics and Logistical Issues
According to data from the consulting group “A-95”, wholesale prices for diesel fuel rose by 3.37 UAH per liter last week and now stand at 49.29 UAH/l. It is noted that most of this increase occurred in the last two days of the week.
“Among the main reasons for the price increase are the rising costs of oil and gas oil on global markets, difficulties with imports due to attacks on Danube ports, the halt of supplies from Slovakia, and a shortage of resources in Lithuania and Romania.”
Due to these factors, diesel fuel is becoming scarce in the South and West of Ukraine. Traders are already reporting limited supply for both current and future deliveries.
