In Ukraine, warnings are issued about fraudulent schemes involving CUKR residence cards in Poland

Who can apply for a CUKR residence card
Starting from July 1, 2024, Ukrainians in Poland under temporary protection will have the right to apply for a new type of residence card – CUKR. This document will indicate the status of temporary protection, and its validity period will be three years.
Common fraudulent methods and important nuances
Although the official application system has not yet started operating, intermediaries are already on the market offering such “services” as:
- “advance registration”;
- full document processing “turnkey”;
- assistance in submitting applications.
For these services, scammers demand money, misleading Ukrainians about the actual conditions for processing documents.
“The application itself is free of charge; only the state fee is payable.”
The Office for Foreigners in Poland emphasizes that the submission of paper applications is not provided for, and the voivodeship offices do not accept documents for the CUKR card. The official fees are 340 zlotys for submitting an application and 100 zlotys for issuing the card. Any other payment demands are fraudulent and do not reflect reality.
