Ukrainian Communities Receive €100 Million from EIB for Infrastructure Restoration
Ukrainian communities will gain access to the second tranche of funding amounting to €100 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a relevant resolution that allows the distribution of these funds under the guarantees of the Ukraine Facility financial instrument from the European Union.

Funding for the Restoration of Social and Critical Facilities
The funds received will be directed towards the implementation of projects aimed at restoring social and critical infrastructure that has been damaged due to the war. In particular, funding is allocated for repairs in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, medical institutions, and utilities. The total funding under the Ukraine Recovery Program III amounts to €250 million, with the first tranche of €100 million having been ratified in August of last year.

Additional Funding for Kyiv Region
In addition, the government has decided to allocate over 730 million hryvnias to complete reconstruction projects in the Kyiv region. Funding will be provided to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, as well as the Bucha and Irpin city communities. The funds are being allocated from the remaining balance of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression and will allow the completion of 30 projects in the region, including 21 residential buildings, six educational institutions, two civil protection facilities, and one healthcare facility.
