Ukrainian Logistics Market Shows Growth: Number of Businesses Doubled in Q3 2025
The Ukrainian transport and logistics sector, despite the ongoing war and significant infrastructure destruction, demonstrates a resilient trend of recovery and development. As of early October 2025, there are 260,400 companies and individual entrepreneurs (IEs) operating in the sector, indicating active business adaptation to challenging conditions.

Development Dynamics of Logistics Companies
Throughout 2025, the logistics sector in Ukraine continues to grow. By the end of September, the number of logistics companies reached over 69,500 legal entities. Although the growth rate has somewhat slowed compared to the previous year, the overall number of businesses in the industry is steadily increasing. It is worth noting that the number of IEs in this field remained almost unchanged over the three quarters of 2025, totaling around 190,000 individuals. At the same time, a significant jump was recorded in the third quarter: compared to the same period in 2024, the number of new IEs doubled, increasing by 8,262 entrepreneurs.
Geography and Market Leaders
The logistics sector covers almost the entire territory of the country, but the highest concentration is observed in Kyiv, where 35,000 companies and IEs operate. Dnipropetrovsk region ranks second with about 18,900 registered market participants, while Odesa region, with 18,300 companies and entrepreneurs, holds the third position.
Among the largest players in the Ukrainian logistics market in 2024, 15 companies stand out, collectively earning 233.6 billion hryvnias. The absolute leader in the industry remains “Ukrzaliznytsia,” whose revenue increased by 20.5% compared to 2021, reaching 108.1 billion hryvnias. “Nova Poshta” ranked second with a turnover of 48.5 billion hryvnias, which is twice as much as in the previous period. “Ukrposhta” took third place with a profit of 13.6 billion hryvnias, which is 16.2% more than in 2021.
