Ukrzaliznytsia Changes Train Routes Due to Track Subsidence in Transcarpathia

On the railway section between Yasinia and Voronenko, a landslide and track subsidence have been recorded, leading to a temporary suspension of train traffic in this direction. In connection with this, Ukrzaliznytsia has announced changes to the routes of several popular trains that will take effect on May 23.

Temporary Changes to Train Schedules on May 23

Railway workers have already begun repair work on the damaged section; however, all trains on the Rakhiv route will change their final stations.

“We need time for a full repair of the section, so all trains on the Rakhiv route will change their final station.”

• Train No. 233 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run to the station Yaremche (arrival at 5:21 AM).
• Train No. 144 Rakhiv – Chernihiv will depart at 12:24 PM from Yaremche.
• Train No. 55 Kyiv – Rakhiv will proceed only to Mikulychyn (arrival at 6:48 AM), with the return trip to Kyiv departing from Mikulychyn at 6:48 PM.
• Train No. 95 Kyiv – Rakhiv will arrive at Voronenko (at 8:45 AM), with the return trip departing from Voronenko at 9:08 PM.
• Train No. 107 Kyiv – Rakhiv will also go to Voronenko (arrival at 9:46 AM), returning to Kyiv at 1:50 PM.
• Train No. 5 Zaporizhzhia – Yasinia will arrive at Vorokhta (at 10:04 AM); it will depart for Zaporizhzhia from Vorokhta at 1:03 PM.
• Train No. 25 Odesa – Yasinia will run to Vorokhta (11:35 AM), with the return trip departing from Vorokhta at 3:35 PM.
• Train No. 357 Kyiv – Yasinia will arrive at Mikulychyn (at 11:58 AM), returning to Kyiv at 3:27 PM from Mikulychyn.
• Train No. 1 Kharkiv – Vorokhta will run to Yaremche (arrival at 12:55 PM), with the return trip to Kharkiv departing from Yaremche at 5:12 PM.
• Train No. 143 Sumy – Rakhiv will go to Vorokhta (arrival at 4:28 PM).
• Train No. 234 Rakhiv – Kyiv will depart from Vorokhta at 10:36 PM.

In addition to long-distance connections, suburban train No. 6441/6442 Kolomyia – Dilove will run only to the station Diliatyn.

Bus Transfers for Passengers

For the convenience of passengers, Ukrzaliznytsia will organize bus transfers from the final stations of the temporarily shortened routes in both directions. This will help passengers reach their destinations despite changes in the train schedules.
