Details on ticket sales and connections with other trains

Tickets for the new routes can be purchased through the official app and website booking.uz.gov.ua, as well as on the websites of the railways of Hungary and Slovakia. With the introduction of the new schedule in December, passengers will have convenient connections with domestic trains, including night trains, significantly reducing travel time and enhancing travel comfort.

“This will allow, for example, to leave Kyiv in the evening, arrive in Uzhhorod in the morning, and continue the journey on a European train without transfers,” emphasized UZ.

The cost of tickets for the trip from Uzhhorod to Vienna is 3500 hryvnias for 1st class and 2200 hryvnias for 2nd class. The trip to Bratislava in 2nd class will cost 2200 hryvnias. Passengers can reach Budapest for 1800 hryvnias in 1st class or 1200 hryvnias in 2nd class.
