For maximum water absorption, especially before winter, deep loosening tines can be used. In such conditions, it is advisable to start working at a shallower depth, gradually increasing it.

For optimal deep cultivation, Väderstad offers the Marathon Edge series tines, which have a pointed shape for better penetration, particularly effective in dry conditions. The pointed shape reduces the effort required to hold the tine in place and ensures a consistent working depth, thereby enhancing work quality and yield potential.
