In 2025, meteorologists predict an average monthly temperature ranging from 21.6 to 26°C. In the Carpathians, these figures will fluctuate between 17 and 19°C, which is 2 to 2.5°C above the long-term climatic norm for this period.
According to an analysis of long-term observations, the average air temperature in July typically ranges from 19 to 24.8°C, while in mountainous areas it is between 13 and 18°C. The absolute minimum temperature can drop to 2 to 9°C above zero, and in the southern regions and Crimea, it can reach 10 to 13°C. In the high-altitude areas of the Carpathians, temperatures may range from 2°C above zero to -1°C.
July is the warmest month of the year, featuring periods of unstable weather with thunderstorms, squalls, and downpours, as well as periods of hot, dry weather. This year, the average monthly temperature in July is expected to be between 21.6 and 26°C (17 to 19°C in the Carpathians), which is 2 to 2.5°C above normal.

The expected monthly precipitation in July will be between 25 and 73 mm, while in the Carpathians and the Precarpathian region, it may reach 84 to 109 mm, which is only 64 to 79% of the norm. Long-term data indicate that the average precipitation in the western, northern, and Vinnytsia regions usually reaches 62 to 119 mm, in the Carpathians – 131 to 170 mm, and in most areas of the country – 37 to 75 mm. In the southeastern regions, this figure may be even lower, ranging from 23 to 36 mm.
The absolute maximum air temperature in July reaches 33.4 to 39.6°C, while in the southern, eastern, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia regions, and Crimea, it may locally reach 40 to 41.6°C. In mountainous areas, maximum temperatures are recorded between 27 and 37°C.
