Missile and drone attack damaged the energy system

On the night of December 12 to 13, the enemy carried out a combined strike with missiles and drones on generation, distribution, and transmission facilities. The Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions were the most affected. As a result, large-scale power outages for the population and businesses were recorded in the listed regions by morning.

“As a result of the attack, there are consumers without power in the Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Mykolaiv regions by morning,” the ministry reports.

Power outage schedules and emergency recovery work

All regions of Ukraine are operating under hourly electricity supply restriction schedules on this day. Additionally, special power limitation schedules remain in effect for industrial consumers and businesses. Distribution system operators regularly publish current schedules and warn of possible changes on official resources. Ukrainians are advised to check information regarding electricity supply with their local energy company.

The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that emergency recovery work will begin as soon as the security situation allows. Energy workers will make every effort to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible.
