Forecast of Ukraine’s Currency Exchange Rate for the Week of April 28 to May 4

Next week, no significant fluctuations or panic are expected in Ukraine’s currency market. According to leading financial experts, exchange rates on the interbank market and in the cash segment will stabilize, and the difference between them will become minimal—almost zero.

Expected Exchange Rate Fluctuations for Next Week
The director of the financial markets and investment activities department at Globus Bank, Taras Lisovyi, noted that in the first four months of the year, the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia may be reduced by 1.5-1%.
“According to him, next week, from April 28 to May 4, the dollar exchange rate will fluctuate in the range of 41.2 – 41.6 hryvnias per dollar in both the interbank market and the cash segment.”
What This Means for Ukrainians
According to this forecast, 100 dollars in hryvnias by May 4 will amount to approximately 4120 – 4160 hryvnias, while 1000 dollars will be around 41200 – 41600 hryvnias. This allows Ukrainians to roughly plan their financial transactions and purchases for the upcoming week without the risk of sharp exchange rate fluctuations.
