Ternopil Region Tops Ukraine’s Regional Export Growth Ranking
According to the results for January–September 2025, Ternopil Oblast has become the leader among Ukraine’s regions in export growth rates, increasing its external supply volumes by 20.1% compared to the same period in 2024. The export volume during this period amounted to 688.1 million US dollars.

Positive Balance of Foreign Trade
The activation of foreign economic activity has provided Ternopil with a significant positive trade balance. The difference between exports and imports in the region reached 143.2 million US dollars. This indicates the dominance of local goods sales abroad, which has ensured additional currency inflow and strengthened the economic potential of the region.
Main Trade Partners and Export Directions
The leading partners of Ternopil remain European countries. The largest export volumes were directed to Poland, Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany, and Spain. This geography of supplies demonstrates a stable demand for the products of the region’s enterprises in the international market.
